MyJa Studio is a JRJ computation and cadastral mapping tool for land surveyors in Uganda. It was built by a fresh Cartography and GIS graduate from The Institute of Survey and Land Management, Entebbe, who also holds a Certificate in Land Management and Geomatics and practices in the surveying field under the supervision and guidance of a qualified registered surveyor.
You drop a coordinate abstract and a DXF. It computes the datum, adjusts the link traverse, calculates parcel areas, and produces a Ministry-standard cadastral sheet. The whole workflow runs in your browser.
It is a computational aid, not a substitute for professional judgement. Every result should be verified before submission — the surveyor who signs the plan is responsible for its accuracy.
Registered surveyors, field surveyors, surveying firms, and students in Uganda. Anyone who prepares a JRJ.
MyJa Studio does not replace your professional judgement, your field observations, or your responsibility for the plan you sign. It is a tool to help you work faster and reduce arithmetic errors. It is not a licence, not an endorsement by the Ministry of Lands or the Institution of Surveyors of Uganda, and not a substitute for verification against your own records.
MyJa Studio was built by Nsubuga Marcus, a Cartography and GIS graduate of The Institute of Survey and Land Management, Entebbe. He holds a Certificate in Land Management and Geomatics and currently practices in the surveying field under the supervision and guidance of a qualified registered surveyor.
The tool was created to reduce the office hours after a field survey — the arithmetic, the adjustment, the area schedule, and the sheet composition — so that a surveyor can spend more time in the field and less time at a desk.
